Although some of us may have sought this new deal since its inception – late April, we would like to remind other neighbors and across states about these programs. D.C with Department of the Environment (green.dc.gov/green); Maryland with Department of Energy Administration (http://www.energy.maryland.gov) and Virginia with Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (www.dmme.virginia.gov) provide necessary information that to help with your energy savings.
This is also one of the best times to hoard up eligible tax incentives for next season. There could not be a better time than now to get inspired at these opportunities. Although it is possible the funds allocated for this program may have run out (just like cash for clunkers) , there is a good chance of an extension – especially as we begin summer. Be sure to check back for more information regarding any extensions. Below are each state’s appliance rebate:
